Your Coronado Concierge Physician — Dr. Mike Holman

Coronado residents are matched directly with Dr. Holman, our board-certified emergency medicine physician dedicated to the Island.

Dr. Holman grew up in Coronado, attended Sacred Heart Parish School, and graduated from Coronado High School in 2002. After studying at Franciscan University and The Ohio State University, he attended Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, completing his residency at UC San Diego where he was named Chief Resident and Resident of the Year.

Today Dr. Holman is an attending emergency physician at Sharp Coronado and Sharp Chula Vista Hospitals. His unique advantage for Coronado patients: he's actively practicing in the same emergency departments that his concierge patients would otherwise visit — meaning he knows the local hospital systems, the specialists, and the resources better than any out-of-area physician could.
